Money

Finish the money unit with a full task-based lesson where students act as money coaches. They study realistic monthly budgets, find where money is going down the drain, and advise a friend on accounts (chequing, TFSA, FHSA, RESP) and savings. Then they write a 5-sentence advice message about one of three characters (Karen, James or Linda), using the First Conditional and money idioms from the set. A language focus stage with error correction, a reflection, and homework with a budget table are all built in. Teacher's notes for assessment and sample answers with the sums already done are included.
